Introducing our flagship product

Overview

The AiSat software framework utilises streamlined image data processing pipeline including orbital feature detection, keypoint estimation and convolutional neural networks to estimate the space target pose.

Existing peer-reviewed solutions have been validated using spacecraft datasets from real-world space missions and photorealistic orbital image simulator, as well as using ground-based orbital hardware testbed (TRL 4-5). The technology will be further developed to reach TRL 8 and aim for in-orbit flight demonstration in the 2024-2025 timeframe achieving TRL 9.

Key uses

The technology and its associated flight software systems can apply in relative spacecraft navigation for many orbital mission scenarios involving either cooperative or non-cooperative targets. It can work for varying mission phases too such as the rendezvous and/or docking phases, proximity GNC phase, or robotic grasping phase, etc.
